Made from 15 denier non stretch nylon , these stockings come with a stitched back seam, point heel and contrast foot.  Each pair has the Ars-Vivendi logo woven into the welt and are manufactured on modern circular-knitting-machinery.

 Important information on the fit and care of nylon stockings

100% nylon stockings do not fit or feel like everyday modern hosiery, although all nylon stockings that are made these days are made from modern day nylon yarn the machinery that makes them is far from cutting edge technology. If you are purchasing nylons for the first time, it may take a couple of attempts at trying different sizes until you find the right size for you.Every brand including ours fit and feel different and you will find in time the best fit and brand which suits you best.Take time in finding the right fit for you, once you have the correct fitting nylons you will not want to wear anything else.

Caring for your stockings is very important, some wearers use hosiery gloves to put on their stockings, watch out for long nails as they can cause ladders or snags, if you are wearing seams then start at the ankle and straighten as you pull them up your calf then up over your thigh.Attach your back suspender strap at the top of your seam or keyhole , this will keep your seams straight all day long.

Your new stockings will need care taken when it comes to wash day, never wash in hot water or in a washing machine, handwash only in lukewarm soapy water then rinse well , dry naturally and never dry on a hot radiaotor or use a tumble dryer as this will make the nylon fibres harsh and brittle.
